Job Introduction
Canadian Bilingual School is seeking a Health and Safety Supervisor to ensure the safety, well-being, and compliance of all students, staff, and visitors on campus. This role requires a proactive safety advocate who will implement and monitor high safety standards while maintaining operational efficiency in a learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Educate staff and students on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, reporting findings and preventive measures.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of safety equipment.
- Collaborate with school administration and regulatory bodies to enforce safety standards.
- Respond to emergency situations and coordinate first aid when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification in Health and Safety Management (mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a health and safety role.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a transferable visa.
