Job Introduction
A Heavy Oil Drilling Company in Kuwait is urgently looking for an experienced Derrickman. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in drilling operations. Responsibilities
✅ Assist in the assembly, maintenance, and operation of drilling rigs.
✅ Work at elevated heights on the derrick to guide drill pipe and casing into the hole.
✅ Perform inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance on derrick equipment.
✅ Monitor drilling fluids, pumps, and circulation systems.
✅ Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
✅ Coordinate with drillers, assistant drillers, and rig floor crew for smooth operations.
✅ Handle rig-up and rig-down procedures efficiently.
Qualifications
🔹 Minimum 3 years of experience as a Derrickman in an oil drilling environment.
🔹 Strong knowledge of drilling operations, rig safety, and well control.
🔹 Physically fit and able to work at heights in challenging conditions.
🔹 Familiarity with oilfield safety procedures and PPE requirements.
🔹 Valid certifications (if required by company or regulatory bodies).
🔹 Ability to work in rotation shifts (56/28 schedule).
