Job Introduction
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Officer for a printing press to ensure all printed materials meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will monitor production processes, inspect final outputs, and collaborate with production teams to maintain quality consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect printed materials such as packaging, labels, brochures, etc., for color accuracy, alignment, and defects.
- Ensure compliance with industry printing standards and client specifications.
- Monitor press operations and finishing processes to maintain quality control.
- Identify and report printing defects such as misregistration, ink smudging, and cutting errors.
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and minimize waste.
- Maintain detailed documentation of inspections and quality reports.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance print quality and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in quality control within the printing or packaging industry (preferred).
- Strong understanding of printing techniques, color matching, and finishing processes.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify defects accurately.
- Basic knowledge of printing press machinery and production workflows.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with production teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for quality documentation (preferred).
