We are seeking skilled Chefs for various positions aboard cruise ships, including Junior Sous Chef, Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Chef de Partie. If you have a passion for culinary arts and experience in any of these roles, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Culinary Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in line with the cruise line’s menu standards and recipes.
- Team Leadership: Assist in managing kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with senior chefs to develop and innovate menu items that appeal to diverse international guests.
- Quality Control: Ensure all food preparation and presentation comply with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain an efficient kitchen operation.
- Training: Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, promoting best practices in food preparation and safety.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in a culinary role, with a focus on the positions listed (Junior Sous Chef, Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Chef de Partie).
- Language: Proficiency in English is required for all CV submissions.
- Cruise Experience: While previous cruise ship experience is not mandatory, it is considered beneficial.
