A leading company in Kuwait is looking for a Civil Estimation & Project Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects, estimating costs, and ensuring seamless execution. Job Responsibilities
- Oversee project management, engineering, and execution of civil construction work.
- Estimate project costs during the design and development phase, recommending cost-effective solutions.
- Analyze tender documents, including contractual and commercial terms, and conduct risk assessments.
- Prepare accurate cost estimations and competitive techno-commercial offers.
- Build and maintain a database of vendors and suppliers.
- Estimate variations and coordinate with project execution and commercial teams.
- Monitor project costs and prepare estimates for variation works, valuations, and claims.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to coordinate tendering functions between internal departments and external vendors.
- Strong business and commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and structural design software & tools.
- Self-motivated, organized leader with strong leadership skills.
