Cutting Master (Tailor Shop)

Are you skilled in tailoring and fabric cutting? We are currently seeking an experienced Cutting Master to join our tailor shop in Kuwait City. As a Cutting Master, you will play a crucial role in our shop, working closely with other tailors to create high-quality garments for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cutting Master, your primary duties will involve:

1. Fabric Cutting: Precisely cut fabric based on customer measurements and design patterns, ensuring accuracy and minimal waste.
2. Pattern Making: Create, modify, and adjust patterns as per the client’s requests and specifications.
3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other tailors and staff to ensure seamless garment production and customer satisfaction.
4. Quality Control: Ensure that all fabrics and cuts meet the shop’s high standards for quality, fit, and appearance.
5. Tailoring Assistance: Assist in tailoring activities such as adjustments, alterations, and fittings, if needed.

Your role will be critical in ensuring that all garments are tailored to perfection and delivered on time.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

1. Experience: Previous experience as a Cutting Master or in a similar role within a tailor shop.
2. Skills: Strong knowledge of fabric types, pattern-making, and precision cutting.
3. Visa 18: Candidates must have a valid Visa 18, which allows them to work in Kuwait.
4. Residency: Must currently reside in Kuwait.
5. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring all cuts are precise and garments meet customer expectations.

Experience in pattern-making and fabric cutting is essential, and knowledge of various fabric types and tailoring techniques will be beneficial.
