A well-reputed company in Kuwait is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in cost estimation, project analysis, and technical design interpretation. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project requirements, technical drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Develop detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdowns.
- Utilize AutoCAD for design interpretation and modifications when required.
- Conduct market research to source materials and subcontractors for accurate pricing.
- Work closely with the design, procurement, and project teams to optimize cost efficiency.
- Assist in preparing tenders, proposals, and quotations for clients.
- Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards and project requirements.
- Maintain updated records of project costs, pricing trends, and material specifications.
- Participate in client and vendor meetings to discuss project estimations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in construction, MEP, or engineering sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for design analysis and modifications.
- Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations is an advantage.
