As the Head Waitress, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the waitstaff team in delivering outstanding service while managing customer interactions, handling complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Duties:
Customer Service:
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing menu recommendations.
- Monitor dining areas to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Complaint Resolution:
- Listen attentively to customer complaints and take quick action to resolve issues.
- Maintain a calm demeanor while dealing with difficult situations to ensure a positive outcome for the customer.
Team Leadership:
- Train, supervise, and motivate waitstaff to ensure high standards of service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and special requests.
Operational Support:
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all service activities.
Communication:
- Act as a liaison between customers and management, effectively communicating guest feedback and suggestions.
- Stay informed about menu changes, specials, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waitress, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
