As the Head Waitress, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the waitstaff team in delivering outstanding service while managing customer interactions, handling complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Duties:

Customer Service:

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing menu recommendations.
  • Monitor dining areas to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

Complaint Resolution:

  • Listen attentively to customer complaints and take quick action to resolve issues.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor while dealing with difficult situations to ensure a positive outcome for the customer.

Team Leadership:

  • Train, supervise, and motivate waitstaff to ensure high standards of service.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and special requests.

Operational Support:

  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all service activities.

Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between customers and management, effectively communicating guest feedback and suggestions.
  • Stay informed about menu changes, specials, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a waitress, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
