Job Introduction
Our company is seeking an experienced HSE Officer (Safety Officer) to join our team in Kuwait City, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management with expertise in ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires hands-on experience in implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enhance safety policies and procedures to meet industry standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification in the workplace.
- Ensure compliance with HSE Management System requirements.
- Provide necessary advice, information, and support to employees regarding safety regulations.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly HSE reports.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks (TBTs) and Safety Alerts to enhance safety awareness.
- Monitor workplace activities to ensure that safety standards are being followed.
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
- Coordinate with relevant regulatory bodies and safety authorities.
- Conduct safety training sessions for employees.
Qualifications & Requirements
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
- Prior experience in oil & gas sector is an advantage.
- Must have relevant educational qualifications in HSE or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must hold a transferable Visa 18.
