We are currently looking to hire an experienced Indian Accountant to join our dynamic team in a reputable F&B company. Key Responsibilities

The Indian Accountant will be expected to:

  • Use Foodics Software: Manage all accounting tasks using Foodics, a popular POS and back-office software for F&B businesses.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Regularly perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of the financial records.
  • Costing: Monitor and calculate the costs of goods sold, ensuring accurate costing to support financial analysis.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Support Management: Assist the management team with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Payroll: Assist with payroll calculations and ensure accurate deductions and payments.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience with Foodics software: Hands-on experience using Foodics software in an accounting role is a must.
  • Proven experience in accounting: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting, particularly in the F&B sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles: Sound understanding of financial statements, bank reconciliation, and costing.
  • Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Time management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an F&B company is preferred but not required.
  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Kuwait tax regulations and local financial requirements would be advantageous.
