Job Introduction
We are seeking a skilled Interior Fit-Out Architectural CAD Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings for various interior fit-out projects. This role requires strong expertise in architectural drafting, coordination with other trades, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings including wall setting out plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, flooring, joinery, stone, glass, and metal detailing.
- Develop tender drawings and specifications in coordination with the Design Coordinator.
- Ensure proper coordination with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC drawings.
- Manage ongoing revisions and implement changes as required.
- Organize and maintain drawing files for easy access and retrieval.
- Prepare detailed cut-list drawings for production based on approved shop drawings.
- Follow up with production and site installation teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Adapt shop drawings to site conditions and provide solutions for on-site challenges.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of construction detailing and materials used in interior fit-outs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and design plans.
- Valid Civil ID and 18 transferable visa are required.
