Job Briefing:
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a focus on the Corporate Banking Domain for our Kuwait operations. The successful candidate will work with Agile teams, using advanced technologies and methodologies to develop, test, and maintain software applications. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment, working closely with one of the leading banks in Kuwait.
Duties:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for the corporate banking domain
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver software solutions on time and within scope
- Implement and integrate REST APIs and other web services
- Work with Spring Boot, WebLogic Server, and .NET frameworks to develop scalable solutions
- Conduct unit and performance testing, ensuring optimal system functionality
- Maintain and update technical documentation for projects
- Provide continuous support and enhancements for applications as required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in software development, preferably in Agile environments
- Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming
- Experience with REST APIs, Spring Boot, and WebLogic Server (familiarity is a plus)
- Knowledge of .NET and experience with unit testing frameworks
- Familiarity with the concepts of Microservices architecture is a plus
- Knowledge of pair programming, continuous integration, and test-driven development methodologies
