Job Responsibilities
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries.
- Maintain the general ledger and oversee its functions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial regulations.
- Identify business trends and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience as an Accountant (preferably in the education sector).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax laws, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
