Job Introduction
We are looking for an experienced General Supervisor to oversee our exterior painting project in Shuwaikh, Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction, painting, or manufacturing and previous supervisory experience. This is a full-time position requiring an Arabic-speaking candidate with a Kuwaiti driving license and a Transferable Visa 18 (Ahli). Immediate joining is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of painters, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
- Plan, schedule, and organize painting projects to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
- Train and mentor new and existing team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any painting-related issues during projects.
- Monitor paint and supply inventory, placing orders when needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Enforce workplace safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and hours worked.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory role related to painting or construction.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and coordinate a team effectively.
- Project Management: Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth workflow.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Driving License: Valid Kuwaiti driving license (mandatory).
- Visa Requirement: Transferable Visa 18 (Ahli) (mandatory).
- Availability: Immediate joining required.
