Job Introduction
A well-established company in the construction and industrial sector is seeking an experienced General Supervisor to oversee exterior painting projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for quality, and the ability to manage painting teams efficiently. Immediate joining is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of painters to ensure high-quality work.
- Plan, organize, and schedule painting projects to meet deadlines.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and client standards.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of painting materials, tools, and equipment.
- Provide training and guidance to new and existing team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any painting-related issues on-site.
- Monitor paint and supply inventory, placing orders when needed.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other departments for smooth workflow.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a painting supervisor role or a similar supervisory position.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Leadership and team management skills to guide painting teams effectively.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the painting industry.
- Must have a valid Kuwait Driving License.
- Visa Type: Article 18 Ahli (Transferable).
