Job Introduction
A multinational leading organization in Kuwait is seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer to join its team. The role involves working with Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia telecom systems, including 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G wireless equipment, as well as microwave transmission and power systems. This is a full-time position, requiring immediate joiners from Indian or Pakistani nationality with a transferable Kuwait residency (Article 18).
Job Responsibilities
- Commissioning & Integration of Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia wireless equipment (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G).
- MW Link Commissioning & Integration for Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia.
- DC Power System installation, including rectifier setup, alarm patching, and testing.
- Coordinating with customers and project managers for smooth execution.
- VSWR Sweep testing and alarm troubleshooting.
- Conducting acceptance visits with vendor/operator representatives.
- Quality assurance and compliance checks before PAT (Pre-Acceptance Test).
- Documentation management, including PAT Folder preparation and BOQ preparation.
- Transmission and Line of Sight (LOS) survey for microwave links.
- Managing implementation teams and ensuring compliance with telecom standards.
- Attending site acceptance visits and obtaining necessary OIL clearance PAT.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecommunication/Electrical).
- Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) Card is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar telecom engineering role.
- Expertise in wireless and microwave network integration.
- Familiarity with installation quality documentation and site surveys.
- Proficiency in technical coordination and team management.
- Must be an Indian or Pakistani national.
- Local candidates with transferable Visa 18 (Project Visa not accepted).
