We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team and help streamline payroll processes in alignment with our clients’ needs and industry standards.

Job Briefing:
The Payroll Officer will be responsible for overseeing payroll processes, including consolidating payroll inputs, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive payroll data. The successful candidate will be proficient in payroll systems like SAP or Oracle HCM and will demonstrate a keen understanding of payroll policies and reporting.

Duties:

  • Payroll Administration: Consolidate and process payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, deductions, and reimbursements.
  • Data Management: Ensure payroll data is accurate by reviewing, verifying, and correcting any discrepancies in consolidated reports.
  • Reporting: Generate standard and customized payroll reports for management and ensure pay slips are distributed securely.
  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Handle payroll setup for new hires and manage final settlements for departing employees, including end-of-service benefits.
  • Payment Processing: Coordinate salary transfers, verify bank details, and process advance payments for approved leave.
  • Compliance and Record Keeping: Ensure payroll practices align with labor laws and maintain both digital and manual payroll records.
  • System Coordination: Collaborate with IT to resolve payroll system issues and suggest improvements to enhance system performance.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Provide support in HR-related banking transactions and prepare necessary documentation for employee banking and HR letters.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of payroll administration experience, with preferred knowledge of systems like SAP or Oracle HCM.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and payroll software.
    • Knowledge of payroll-related labor laws and regulations.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
