Planning Engineer – Mechanical

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer specializing in Mechanical Engineering to join our team in Ahmadi, Kuwait. Responsibilities

As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Project Planning: Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera, ensuring that all project milestones and deadlines are met.
• Resource Management: Collaborate with project managers to allocate resources efficiently and effectively for project execution.
• Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on project status, including progress updates and forecasting, to present to management and stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in the planning phase and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically in planning roles.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in Primavera project management software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address planning challenges effectively.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
