Job Introduction
A leading company in Kuwait is looking for a Process Automation Design Engineer to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining process automation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with 6-8 years of experience in petrochemical, refinery, or fertilizer plants to work on challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop process automation systems, including instrumentation, control systems, automated valves, and process control networks.
- Ensure compliance with Client work processes, standards, and policies.
- Utilize design tools related to sensors and final control elements, including Smart Plant Instrumentation.
- Work with international standards such as ISA, IEC, and company-specific guidelines.
- Conduct detailed instrumentation engineering for large-scale petrochemical, refinery, or fertilizer plants.
- Provide technical support for control systems and process instruments.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize automation solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrument Engineering.
- 6-8 years of experience in process automation, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Strong understanding of international standards (ISA, IEC).
- Hands-on experience with process instruments, control systems, and process control networks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows & MS Office.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English: Intermediate level.
