We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and supplies while ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to quality standards. This role requires strong supplier management skills, procurement expertise, and the ability to coordinate effectively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify and assess potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Purchase Order Management: Issue purchase orders, track orders, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
  • Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels and coordinate procurement with relevant departments.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve supply chain disruptions or delays efficiently.
  • Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase history and supplier performance reports.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: (Discuss during the interview)
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of purchasing procedures, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to manage and resolve supplier-related issues efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
