Job Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with departments for procurement needs.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and promptly address supply chain issues.
- Maintain procurement records and update supplier databases.
- Assess supplier performance and build strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Analyze purchasing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to optimize procurement strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
