Key Responsibilities
- Manage Procurement Process: Oversee the purchasing of goods and services, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisitions.
- Supplier Negotiation: Research, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value for money.
- Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure that all purchasing activities follow company policies and Kuwait’s regulatory requirements.
- Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments for supply needs.
- Purchase Order Processing: Issue purchase orders, track shipments, and monitor order fulfillment.
- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends and pricing to optimize procurement strategies.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while identifying new potential suppliers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a purchasing or procurement role.
- Driving License: Valid Kuwait Driving License is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Negotiation & Communication: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain records and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
- Independent & Teamwork Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different departments.
