🔧 Key Responsibilities
As a QHSE Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring Safety: Take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of all employees within the company.
- Safety Awareness Programs: Develop and supervise safety awareness programs, maintaining high HSE standards among workers and clients.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure laboratory compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet the required standards.
- Inspection: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare regular safety reports and incident reports to ensure continuous improvements in safety standards.
- Training: Provide HSE training and support to all personnel, including emergency response drills and safety best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify potential hazards and provide solutions to mitigate risks associated with operations.
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field (HSE, Engineering, etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality and Health Safety, preferably in NDT projects within the Oil & Gas maintenance sector.
- Valid HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Health and Safety regulations.
- Valid Kuwait Driving License will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Transferable residency visa is a must (Article 18).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) projects and Oil & Gas sector operations.
- Arabic language skills are preferred but not mandatory.
