Job Introduction

A well-reputed company in Kuwait is seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join their team. This role is open to local hires in Kuwait only (Arab Nationals preferred).

The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety by implementing and maintaining safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Develop and implement safety programs, including training, emergency response plans, and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) laws and regulations.
• Provide safety training to employees on procedures, equipment usage, and emergency response protocols.
• Monitor safety performance and maintain safety records.
• Collaborate with management to integrate safety measures into overall business operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent).
• First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
• Ability to conduct safety audits and inspections.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Arab Nationals only (eligibility requirement).
