Job Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial management, supporting business operations, and improving financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Implement and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Monitor financial records and transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support management in strategic financial decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
