This is an exciting opportunity for skilled Steel Fixers and Carpenters to join a government project team in Kuwait. We are looking to hire 20 Steel Fixers and 20 Carpenters for immediate placement. Key Responsibilities
Steel Fixer Responsibilities
- Rebar Installation: Fix and place steel reinforcements in concrete structures as per project specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and ensure work is done according to building codes and regulations.
- Tools and Equipment Handling: Use tools such as hammers, pliers, and welding equipment to cut, bend, and fasten steel bars.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all steel components are installed with high precision, checking for any defects or issues.
- Teamwork: Work closely with other construction workers and follow instructions from supervisors.
Carpenter Responsibilities
- Woodwork and Framing: Construct and install structures, frameworks, and fixtures made of wood and other materials.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and follow technical drawings and blueprints for construction projects.
- Maintenance: Carry out repairs and modifications to existing wooden structures and installations.
- Safety Standards: Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with other workers and supervisors to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Visa: Only Visa #18 (transferable) candidates will be considered.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in relevant fields (steel fixing or carpentry).
- Language: Basic knowledge of English (reading and writing).
- Age: Must be between 20 – 40 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Government Project Experience: Previous experience working on government construction projects is an advantage.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability: Immediate availability for joining is preferred.
